Menorca Experimental
A 19th-century Menorcan farmhouse restored by Dorothée Meilichzon, set in the countryside near Sant Climent with olive groves, pine, and a pool that looks like it has always been there.
Why we chose it
Menorca is the quiet Balearic. No superyacht scene, no crowds, and a UNESCO biosphere protecting most of the island from development. The estate sits inland, ten minutes from beaches that stay empty even in August.
The pace
Swimming, long lunches, and a spa garden that nobody rushes. We run sessions in the morning and let the afternoons go - which is usually when the useful thinking happens anyway.
The design
Meilichzon's work is unmistakable - colour, texture, and pattern used with real confidence, against original stone and beams. It is the least austere property in our portfolio, and teams respond to that.
The estate
Forty-three rooms across the farmhouse and grounds, with private terraces, a large pool, and enough space that a group can disperse and reconvene without leaving the property.
The practical detail
A 19th-century farmhouse restored by Dorothée Meilichzon near Sant Climent, around 15 minutes from Menorca airport. Inland, quiet, with beaches nearby. Seasonal, roughly May to October.
