Forestis
Three timber towers at 1,800 metres in South Tyrol, built into a spruce forest facing the Plose massif. The nearest village is a fifteen-minute drive down the mountain, and there is nothing above it.
Why we chose it
The building is almost entirely silent. No music in the corridors, no noise from the valley, and windows that frame the Dolomites like they were placed there deliberately. Teams notice it within an hour of arriving and it changes how they speak to each other.
1,800 metres
Thin, cold, clean air and a horizon of limestone peaks. Whatever the physiological argument, the practical effect is simple - people sleep properly and think more clearly by the second morning.
The building
Local stone and spruce, minimal interiors, and towers that disappear into the treeline from a distance. Nothing decorative. The landscape does the work.
The pace
The spa is built around water, wood, and the forest itself. We use it as the structure of the day - sessions in the morning, the mountain in the afternoon, dinner and the conversations that follow.
The practical detail
Timber towers at 1,800 metres in South Tyrol, around 40 minutes from Bolzano and reachable via Innsbruck or Verona. Silent, minimal, facing the Plose massif. Works winter and summer.
